there is no thanksgiving in paris

mackenzie and i almost forgot that it even was thanksgiving. we went to an irish pub and had a couple pints o' beer. then, we went to this cafe that has this huge flat-screen to watch a footbal match. we chomped down a couple steaks and fries with wine while i practiced yelling my french swear words at the t.v. i think it's safe to say that mack and i fulfilled our thanksgiving obligations.
. . .
the job is put on hold for now. just as i thought that the french govvie got their fill of paperwork from me, they want more! and they love it. luckily it seems as though i can afford to supply their fix. in the meantime, what a coincidence that the last couple of days that i haven't been working the sun has been out (a paris rarity for this time of year). so i've been out and about studying my neighborhood and practicing my french. plus, i got an email from miss mia who's in barcelona right now. she's taking a train to paris and we're meeting up on sunday! i cannot absolutely wait!
