- capacity of main waiting room full.. about 200 m² -standing room only
- earliest time they can see me is in 24 hours
- can't leave
- RN to call name every 2-6 hours to check on your current status, you're not dying.
- if not there when they call after 2 tries, your registration's void
do i qualify for registration
- 3 RNs bilingual

1. RN does quick check-up (blood pressure, temp, makes chart.
2. go into another room - "request for registration"
*what is medi-cal? ORSA?
3. registered -> waiting room -> no windows/crammed
4. yelling out names - no sound system - over 200 patients waiting - someone yells that they can't hear, speak louder. everyone has to be quiet.
a white person for every 15? 20? people.. lots senior citizens
